High quality, weather resistant, pure acrylic paint formulated to be used on most building interior and exterior surfaces.

PURE ACRYLIC RUBBER EMULSION 8900 is suggested where excellent coverage, hiding power, washability and weather resistance are required.

It gives a superfine eggshell finish after painting.

Available in a wide range of colors as per TETRACO tinting system color chart.

Areas of use

Tetraco PURE ACRYLIC RUBBER EMULSION 8900 can be used on most new or old building surfaces. It is suitable for housing development, villas, industrial and commercial complexes, schools, hotels, hospitals, bridge facades, roof trusses, etc. Where a high quality matt finish is required.

Preparation of surface

Ensure that all dust, dirt or foreign matter are brushed and scraped away. Also ensure the surface is solid, free from salts, oil, grease and ridges.

All cracks, chips, voids and damages should be repaired with Tetraputty (for interior surfaces) or Tetraco Acrylic Filler putty (for exterior surfaces). Prime surface using

• TETRAPRIMER for interior use
• TETRABOND for exterior use
• WBU 3000 -  water based undercoat (highly recommended) for interior and exterior use
• SBU 6000 - solvent based undercoat for interior and exterior use

 

Application

For best finish

1. Prime using TETRAPRIMER-A/ WBU 3000/SBU 6000 for interior applications
2. Dilute TETRAPRIMER-A WHITE up to 35% with clean water and stir well before application
3. Dilute WBU 3000 WHITE up to 25% with clean water and stir well before application
4. Dilute SBU 6000 WHITE up to 35% with clean white spirit and stir well before application
5. Dilute TETRAPRIMER-A CLEAR up to 50% with clean water and stir well before application
6. PRIMER should be painted / covered as soon as possible to ensure optimum adhesion
7. For exterior applications prime with WBU 3000 / SBU 6000 / TETRABOND or EP700 exterior primer
8. Apply using roller, brush or spay gun
9. If the area under repair requires many coats, then apply several ones allowing each coat to dry (3 hours)
10. Dilute paint up to 25 % with clean water and stir well before use
11. Letdown the mix for 10 minutes before painting
