Wood ready-mixed filler

Tetrawood is a ready mixed, superfine filler, especially formulated for wooden surfaces repair, with high adhesion power and easy sanding properties.

Tetrawood is specifically manufactured to repair, even and touch up wooden surfaces, both old and new, prior to painting. It has plastic properties, does not flake off, is permanent and retains its adhesion.

Bonding & Preparation of surface

When dry, Tetrawood bonds extremely well to wood, cement, gypsum boards, galvanized steel and all common building surfaces (including painted areas). If the surface on which Tetrawood is to be applied shows signs of flaking or dusting, then the surface should be cleaned and sanded prior to patching with Tetrawood. Surfaces affected by rising damp should be treated with a damp proofing system prior to application of filler. If damp is a constant danger then the use of Tetraco Acrylic Filler Putty is recommended.  

Application

Apply the filler in a thin even layer; if the area under repair requires a thick coat then apply several thin layers. Lightly sand with sandpaper over the dry final surface within 24 hours of application and before painting. Tetrawood can be painted with all kind of water or solvent base paints without any exception, priming is obligatory.
