TETRACO PUM varnish is a ready to use solvent base paint, specially manufactured for wood protection and applicable on all common building exterior and interior surfaces.

Quick drying ready-mixed paint formulated using urethane modified alkyd resin, white spirit, matting agents and additives.

Application

TETRACO PUM varnish is suitable for use on wood, exterior furniture and boats, where excellent humidity resistance is required.

Dilute product with white spirit up to 20%

Apply TETRACO PUM varnish in a thin even layer, if the area under repair requires many coats, then apply several ones allowing each to dry before adding the next (touch dry 2 hours for eggshell / 3 hours for semi-gloss / 4 hours for glossy).

Apply by roller, brush or spray gun, clean tools with white spirit and ensure a good ventilation during and after application.

Keep away from children’s reach.

Preparation of surface

Ensure that dust, dirt and foreign matter is brushed and scraped away. Ridges must also be removed.

Heat resistance

TETRACO PUM varnish shows a good resistance to heat (80°C) unless subjected to near maximum temperatures for long time. For higher temperatures (up to 115°C) the product is not recommended.
